JACKSON ELEMENTARY

Calling all budding scientists and curious minds! Jackson Elementary is gearing up for an evening of scientific discovery and interactive fun at its upcoming Science Night on February 29th. Parents and students are invited to join in the excitement from 5:30 to 6:05 pm as 2nd and 3rd grade Science teachers lead engaging rotation activities, followed by parent conferences until 7:00 pm.

Get ready to embark on a journey of exploration as Jackson Elementary's dedicated Science teachers unveil a series of hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and ignite a passion for discovery.  As students rotate through the various stations, they'll have the chance to engage with exciting experiments, observe fascinating phenomena, and ask questions that will expand their understanding of the world around them. 

Following the rotation activities, parents are invited to participate in parent conferences until 7:00 pm, providing an invaluable opportunity to connect with teachers, discuss their child's progress, and gain insight into their academic journey. Whether it's celebrating achievements, addressing concerns, or setting goals for the future, parent conferences offer a collaborative forum for parents and educators to support student success.

Principal Judy Carpenter expressed her excitement for the upcoming event, highlighting its role in fostering a love for science and strengthening the school-home partnership. "Science Night is not only a chance for students to explore the wonders of science but also an opportunity for parents to actively engage in their child's education," she remarked.
