JACKSON ELEMENTARY

Bringing their curiosity and technological prowess to the forefront, a group of 1st to 3rd grade Gifted and Talented (G/T) students from Jackson Elementary embarked on an exhilarating all-day Robotics seminar at Region 7 in Kilgore on February 15.

Eager to explore the world of robotics and innovation, these budding young minds delved into a day filled with hands-on experiences, interactive workshops, and the opportunity to collaborate with fellow young innovators. The seminar, hosted at Region 7, provided a dynamic platform for students to enhance their understanding of robotics and technology.

Under the guidance of skilled instructors and mentors, the G/T students had the chance to experiment with robotics kits, learn coding basics, and engage in team-based challenges that stimulated their problem-solving skills. The seminar aimed not only to nurture their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) but also to inspire a lifelong love for learning.
